"Andalusian Escape": an unforgettable guided experience to discover the gastronomic delights & historic wonders of Malaga and Ronda, the wineries of vibrant Jerez de la Frontera and enjoy long sunny days.
Thursday: flight Prague - Malaga (not included). We recommend Brussels Airlines & Lufthansa (dep. 6.45 - arr. 12.10, approx € 170 return).
Meeting in Malaga airport at 3 pm, transfer by private vehicle to the accommodation in Malaga center. Optional relax at the magnificent spa “Hammam Al Andalus” followed by an evening tapas bar tour to enjoy the vibrant city life. Friday: visit of Malaga attractions like the Alcazaba, a miniature Alhambra of Granada without the crowds, and the lively food market for a street food discovery of the local seafood delicacies. Transfer to the historic gem of Ronda and tasting lunch at a renowned deli to taste jamon iberico , serrano and other delights. We will then visit the elusive nuns for their “holy cookies” before heading to our accommodation in the picturesque Jerez de la Frontera, one of the most scenic and vibrant towns of the former Moorish kingdoms of Andalusia. Saturday: after breakfast we enjoy the world capital of the blissful sherry fortified wine visiting a magnificent historic winery with a guided tasting. The local fish market is a sight to behold with a bonanza of fish and seafood from both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean sea. The afternoon is dedicated to the discovery of the historic gems like the scenic Alcazar and some relax to prepare ourselves for a Spanish delights dinner paired with wines and a flamenco live music show in our favourite "tabanco" bar. Sunday: transfer to Malaga airport along the scenic coast of Tarifa, the southernmost point of Europe with a tasting lunch by the beach. We recommend Brussel airlines or Smart Wings flight (Malaga – Prague, dep 13 or 22.15) or you can continue your Spanish holiday: we will be in Tarifa until 5.3 and available to help you with hotel bookings and excursions. |
