Producer: Produttori Vini Manduria (Puglia) Variety: Primitivo, Puglia Denomination: Rosato Primitivo IGP The scenic coastal area of Manduria in sunny Puglia is one of the heartlands of Italian wine excellence, particularly known for the full-bodied and sun-blessed Primitivo grapes. A gentle pressing and vinification in steel at controlled temperature (15-17° C) with autochthonous yeasts delivers a lovely coral pink colour, revealing the excellent structure of the wine; it offers a characteristic fruity, intense and fragrant aroma of red apple, wild strawberry and raspberry. Fresh and velvety at the palate, a dry flavor with a long olfactory and gustative persistence of cherry taste Pairing: ideal as aperitivo and paired with starters, fish dishes and spicy asian cuisine. Producer: I Pastini (Locorotondo) Variety: Susumaniello, Puglia Denomin.: Rosè Susumaniello Valle d’Itria IGP The rosé wine from the fertile lands of Puglia boasts an ancient tradition, being produced since the first harvest of so-called "Greek grapes". Rosé was considered a very delicate treat for refined tastes, to offer especially to important guests. "Rotaie" is born in a scenic valley dotted with ancient "trulli", traditional stone huts where farmers and wine makers lived for centuries. This blissful rosé wine offers both the color and the scent of a delicate pink, developing intense aromas with floral notes of rose and strawberry. Pairing: Soft, fresh and persistent on the palate, it can be served and enjoyed during all meals, from appetizers to main courses like meat, fish, pizza up to light desserts. Serving temperature: 8 - 10° C. |
