"Experiences far off the beaten track" May & November 2015 Anyone who participates in a tour or "cook and meet" with Daniele quickly becomes friends with him...We had a lot of fun, met some nice people, and had an immersive cooking class for much less than most places charge! We had such a nice time that we decided to go on a tour with Daniele to Italy. We spent four days exploring the Parma and Liguria regions. With Daniele, you get to experience places and restaurants far off the beaten track- he went to restaurants that no other Americans had ever been to, and castles and sites that very few people think to visit besides the locals and insiders! I highly recommend any tour or experience with Daniele- you are sure to learn and eat a lot!

"I have fallen in love with Piedmont" September 2015 We had a wonderful time in Italy! The tour was exactly what we had expected. We learned (and enjoyed) the regional specialties and wines of Northern Italy. The accommodations were great. Castello La Rocchetta was a wonderful treat... the view of the rolling vineyards around it will forever be etched in my mind Daniele was the perfect host and guide. He had a deep knowledge about the food and culture of the areas we visited. We most specially appreciated his enthusiasm in showing us his country. We felt like we were travelling with a friend rather than a tour guide. This is one trip that we will be talking about for long time.

"Exciting truffle hunt with dogs" November 2013 We had been several times in Italy and we love the country, my wife even studies Italian in St Petersburg and wanted to learn more about the true Italian cuisine of the “grandmothers”. We also love truffles and red wines, so we decided to visit Piedmont at the peak of the truffle season. Daniele created a special itinerary for us together with his friend and partner, an Italian university teacher who speaks perfect Russian. He organised an exciting truffle hunt with dogs in Alba and we found many, we even learned how to prepare the pasta with a cooking class arranged only for us in Barolo and a private gourmet dinner by a chef in Genova. "Umbria, a true revelation" April 2014 & November 2015 I always wanted to visit Umbria, the region famous for Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Benedict: I am interested in history and cultural events and my friend is a real foodie, so we asked Daniele to arrange a short trip and make both of us happy. Umbria was a true revelation, so rich of amazing monuments (the dome of Orvieto and St Francis cathedral are a must-see) and at the same time food delicacies like truffles, ham (Norcino!) and wines. Last year we went with Daniele to Parma and Genova and it was again perfect, so looking forward to the next discovery. |

"Great way to get a "taste" of Prague" October 2014 We arrived at Daniele's BnB on Thu night, just in time for the dessert of the cook'n'meet and got to meet fine people. The next day, we went on a cycling trip with Daniele - a fantastic way to go through the alleys of Prague and then set out to Karlstejn castle. Daniele lead us through the city's lesser known but architecturally rich alleys and then on by the river side through the country side to the castle. Highly recommended. May the Force be with you Daniele :-)

"The best way to see and taste Prague" June 2014 Daniele is as knowledgeable as he is passionate about the beauty and history of Prague and the surrounding areas. His love for the outdoors is boundless, and he is very familiar with all the parks and a lot of the non-touristy sights, which sets him apart from a lot of other guides. We had a tasting with Daniele at a wonderful cafe and his quiche was the best I have ever had... he later took us to a monastery and brewery, and was a great help assisting us with the best local beers and bites in between imparting a lot of detailed history about the area. I highly recommend Daniele as a travel guide and companion not only for his knowledge but also for his warm and friendly disposition--hard to come by! |

"Experience and enjoy the county like a local" December 2013 A truly interesting perspective of Prague, we particularly enjoyed the visit to micro-breweries and the local food delicacies, almost impossible to find without an expert guide. We were able to know and "taste" the most important historical and social aspects of the Czech Republic .... Daniele and his team showed us the most interesting and less visible details of the famous monuments, brought us to hidden and true locations, so rich of atmosphere, where we enjoyed delicious craft beers in venues where the only spoken language was Czech, an experience we will speak a lot about ! |
